A Shaman in disguise?
If you met me on the street or in the shopping centre I doubt very much that you would recognize me as a shaman.
You see I don't fit the expectations of most people. I don't dress in loin clothes and I don't smoke herbal concoctions.
I love spending time in nature. I love communicating with trees and plants but I also know how to enjoy the concrete jungle.
I often wear expensive jewellery (not because it is expensive but because it is designed to enhance my vibratory state based on sacred shamanic knowledge). My spiritual guides have shared with me profound teachings on sacred geometry and I have created a whole range of powerful amulets disguised as modern day jewelery.
No, if you met me in a shopping centre I doubt you would recognize me as a shaman.
I am very open about my spirituality but I have also learned that most people are simply not ready for many of the more advanced teachings that I have been privy to as part of my lifelong training from spiritual guides (both physical and non-physical) and mentors.
For many this may sound egotistical. The same people also believe I wear expensive jewelery because I am vain. Their problem, not mine.
Never judge a book by its cover. This simple and ancient teaching is still as relevant today as it has ever been.
Becoming aware of our unconscious biases and preconceived ideas is an important part of our spiritual growth. It is an important part of becoming more effective and efficient in every area of our life, from our intimate relationships to our health and our wealth.
I wonder how many spiritual masters you passed by today without even noticing?
And how many opportunities are you missing out on every day because they "look" different than you think they should?
In Love and Gratitude,
Antonia Ruhl
