Unexplained Infertility Part 2

In my last post I wrote about the shamanic approach to unexplained infertility.

My first priority is to strengthen and rebalance the bodies of the prospective parents.

The underlying assumption is that there is a weakness or imbalance in the body.

Why do I make that assumption?

Decades of experience have shown me that the average person simply isn't that healthy.

For most people their health declines fairly quickly as they get older.

We call this ageing and consider it normal.

What if ageing isn't normal at all but simply the accumulated results or poor nutrition and poor lifestyle choices?

No, I don't think that good nutrition and good lifestyle choices will completely eradicate the ageing process but they will go a long way in slowing it down.

Let's come back to unexplained infertility.

Out body and mind are highly sophisticated and complex. We still have a long way to go to properly understand either.

Unexplained infertility is an example where modern medicine has basically run into a dead end.

The existing understanding does not present a valid reason for the infertility.

In my last blog I shared with you the analogy of a factory running short of a key ingredient (screws) and the artificial intelligence system running the factory decides to ration the screws rather than close the factory.

I believe our unconscious mind, which runs our body, often makes similar though much more complex compromises.

When the body runs short of certain nutrients than compromises need to be made. We cannot just stop producing new cells. We need to replace the large amounts of cells that are constantly dying.

We can however produce sub-optimal cells if we simply don't have enough of the good stuff (nutrition) to go around.

And guess what?

When it comes to deciding which department makes the biggest sacrifice, the fertility department is going to be near the top of the list.

After all, infertility is not life threatening.

By flooding the body with nutrition over a prolonged period of time cellular health improves and often fertility "magically" reappears.

Of course all of this is highly simplified to make the point more clearly.

In practice it can get a lot more complex but the basic approach described above is totally valid and important part of addressing unexplained infertility.

In Love and Gratitude,
Antonia Ruhl
