Flowing with Life
In the shamanic world view all of life is connected.
Like many other esoteric traditions shamanism teaches that the outside world is a reflection of the inner world.
We look at life as a mirror. A mirror that shows us the results of our inner creations.
Many of our inner creations take place unconsciously without our conscious awareness. Life provides us with a tool to become aware of those creations and make inner changes as required.
Our creative power is virtually limitless, which is often our biggest problem.
Due to the powerful nature of our creative powers we can even create the illusion that we are powerless. As this illusion unfolds we find ourselves seemingly at the mercy of others or outside events.
This is how many people fall into a "victim" consciousness, believing that life is happening to them rather than for them.
Every thought is creative and the thoughts we empower through repeated attention will manifest in our "reality".
The wise person remembers that the solutions to all our problems lie within us. The first step is acknowledging our own power. For without this vital step we believe ourselves to be powerless and feel defeated by life.
Once you have stepped into your own power it is time to play spiritual detective and discover what inner changes are necessary to resolve the challenge we are facing.
